The shield frame front is cut and hand-polished from a solid block of gloss black acetate 8mm thick, with the single continuous lens opening spanning 165mm × 50mm across the frame width. The acetate is a triple-layer construction: gloss black exterior, thin white middle layer, and gloss black interior, with the layer sandwich visible as a white edge line at the frame perimeter when viewed from the side — a subtle material detail that signals craftsmanship to those who know. The single-piece lens is polycarbonate with a multi-layer chrome mirror coating that shifts from silver to blue to purple as the viewing angle changes — a premium rainbow mirror effect. UV400.
