The Designhub Neon Hustle Shades embrace the high-visibility neon color aesthetic that crossed over from rave culture into hip hop fashion through the influence of drill music visual culture and the maximalist approach to color that characterizes contemporary trap and hip hop music video styling. The entire frame — front, temples, lenses, and hinges — is injection-molded from a single transparent neon yellow polycarbonate in an oversized square silhouette, giving the glasses an all-yellow translucent appearance in natural light that glows brilliantly under UV black light at events and performances. The frame front is 155mm wide with a 58mm × 45mm lens opening per side. The transparent yellow polycarbonate is a solid color throughout — not a surface coating — ensuring the color does not chip, peel, or fade with use. A mild UV400 coating is applied to the lens panels without affecting the neon transparency. The lens provides category 1 light filtering — more of a fashion tint than serious sun protection, which is consistent with the indoor and evening use context for which this style is primarily designed.
