The Designhub Drip Drop Hexagonal Micro Shades combine the micro-frame aesthetic with a hexagonal lens geometry in a thin wire gold frame, producing a piece that sits at the intersection of geometric art, vintage occult symbolism, and hip hop fashion individuality. The six-sided lens opening is 36mm corner-to-corner — the micro-dimension that places the lens significantly smaller than the eye — giving the frame the floating-jewel quality characteristic of micro sunglasses. The frame is 0.9mm stainless steel wire in a warm yellow gold electroplate, the thinnest wire gauge available in the Designhub range, making the frame visually minimal and letting the unusual hexagonal lens shape carry all the visual interest. The lenses are polycarbonate in deep blue — a rich, saturated cobalt blue that reads as intense color from the exterior and casts a vivid blue wash over the visual field from inside, providing category 1 UV400 light filtering.
